Bhav Jain, President and co-founder of The Connected Foundation, was recently featured in his local newspaper. Patrick Varine and Bhav Jain sat down virtually for an interview in which Jain spoke passionately about how, “We’re hoping to show that having these inter-generational connections improves the mental health of both the senior and the young person they’re working with.”

Eman Khatri, CEO and co-founder of The Connected Foundation, was recently interviewed for an American Legion Auxiliary Girls State blog post. As an ALA Girls State California alumna, Khatri knows the power and importance of diverse and community-driven leadership. “I think the pandemic has grown our ability to empathize with one another in a way we wouldn’t have normally,” she said. In her interview, Khatri emphasizes that, “Our health is so interdependent on other people’s health, so this is a time when we thought college students especially would understand how older adults feel.”
